| Drum makingOver a period of 5, 1.5 hour sessions participants will build their very own d'jun d'jun drums. Everyone will create original designs for their personalized drums, then paint, learn to "skin" and tune their drum.
Oil drums provided through Oil Drum Art.
All musicians need to have their own instruments in order to play, practice and achieve excellence. These oil drum d'juns sound great! Get jamming!
D'jembe making workshops:
During 2, 2 hour sessions, students will "head," string, shave and tune their very own d'jembe drum.
All materials for workshops will be acquired by Matica.
